As you will see in the Gallery, I have celebrated the feminine form in four styles. The Goddess portrait is the image of the Goddess (woman) I am portraying. I paint or draw her actual face, and the rest of the story as represented in the final piece comes to me in dreams, visions or is just intuitively drawn or painted as I am inspired. Each portrait has a story to tell and even though sometimes I am not quite sure why I have drawn as I have, the message tends to be clear to the Goddess portrayed in the artwork.

The Faery and Mermaid portraits are images of those Goddesses connected to the Elemental Kingdom. These women are usually commissioned by me, as when I meet them I automatically envision them as having wings or mermaid tails.

The new Maiden Faeries are a collection of drawings portraying young girls as faeries. Usually commissioned by their parents, these drawings celebrate the youthful spirit of innocence and the pure beauty of childhood.

The Dance Goddess portraits celebrate those Goddesses who express their feminine spirit through dance. Although the current focus has been on belly dancers, my plans for the future are to portray Goddesses celebrating their femininity through other dance forms.

The Gallery also includes artwork from my "Fantasy" or "Faeryland" collection. Most of these works are pencil or pencil and watercolour and portray stories from my imagination.

I hope you enjoy viewing the artwork. Please contact me at dominika@netspace.net.au if you would like more information or have any questions.
